The circus was founded in 1951, at a time of deep communism. Today, it tours all over Europe.There are Czechs, Poles, Ukrainians, but also French, Italians and several artists from South America. Everybody helps everybody, it's a family, ego goes aside. The girl who will be flying on a suspended trapeze in a few minutes is now selling hot dogs and helping clean up backstage after the show. "Watch out for the bear. We never know what mood he's in. When he's led away, hide somewhere. They do have candy for him, he likes that, but he's already pretty fat!"
