EXP.

My work draws inspiration from the "best before" date of food, exploring whether people and their relationships also have an expiration. Using fruits as symbols, I illustrate the evolution of two female characters from strangers to intimacy, then to separation. Each photograph captures the changing nature of their relationship through the varying states of fruit— from freshness to decay—serving as a metaphor for emotional transformation and relational fragility. This project highlights the dynamics of relationships, akin to food with a limited shelf life. Through this work, I aim to encourage audiences to reflect on their roles in intimate relationships and seek balance to better "preserve" them.
