As a visual artist my creative practice is rooted in my love of photography, capturing images that evoke a reaction in the viewer. My work focuses on ‘perspectives’ rather than on one specific genre or medium. I work with a wide variety of equipment including 35mm, medium format and 8x10 across film, instant and digital media. I prefer working outside where the natural light constantly changes becoming part of my artistic process and I can spend hours trying to find the best vantage point and lighting. How I present my work is just as important as the image and I love experimenting with alternative printing techniques and derivative art forms. I have painted on my prints, created collages using dozens of instant photos, turned images in to screen prints and even light boxes.
