Eagan Hsu (b. 2007, Taipei, Taiwan) is an emerging photographic artist currently residing in Taipei. Eagan’s work delves into the intricate tapestry of human emotions and the fleeting, often overlooked moments that shape everyday life. Rooted in both conceptual and documentary photography, their practice reflects a deep engagement with themes of identity, mental health, and cultural heritage. Eagan’s artistic journey has garnered international recognition, including Honorable Mentions at the International Photography Awards (IPA), Monochrome Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3), and the Annual Photography Awards. Their works have been showcased globally, with exhibitions at The Holy Art Tokyo and Athens, and at the Independent & Image Art Space in Chongqing. Eagan has held two solo exhibitions: Beings (2024), exploring identity and human emotions, and Extraordinary in the Ordinary (2023), celebrating the unnoticed beauty of everyday life. Eagan continues to push creative boundaries, blending candid street photography with conceptual self-expression to uncover the depth and complexity of their subjects. Their work invites audiences to pause, reflect, and engage with the world in new and meaningful ways, embodying a commitment to storytelling through the universal language of photography.
