KHRISSY Born in Shönenwerd (SO) Swiss Based in Veytaux (VD) Swiss Khrissy is an artist photographer and multidisciplinary visual artist based in Veytaux, Switzerland. She grew up between Switzerland, Uruguay, Italy and the United States and is a graduate of the School of Applied Arts in Vevey, Switzerland. Independent since 1994, her career covers a wide range of artistic creations. including photography, painting, sculpture and events. In the art of photography, one discovers an unheard-of world of beauty and mystery through which Khrissy has drawn the finest essence. Drawing upon the essence of "chiaroscuro", that she hence the labelled « Icon Lights » she has given to this category of her art- her artistic prowess finds an expressive outlet in the evocative contrasts of light and shadow. This technique, deeply rooted in the Renaissance art movement, finds a contemporary voice in her works, combining the old with the new. She is particularly fascinated by the effects of scenic lights, which she uses to weave stories in the realm of non-objective abstract art. “Icon Lights* theme, is offering a captivating glimpse into her artistic journey. In her studio, the old meets the new, as she harmoniously combines traditional silver photographic techniques with the dynamic capabilities of digital image processing. Her photographs are the fruit of her dedication and passion. Constantly open to new projects, and responding to a variety of artistic tastes, she offers her masterpieces in the form of personalized images.
