Murat Sengul was born in Ordu in 1987. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Journalism. He started his career as a photojournalist in 2009. He has followed national and international developments so far. He photographed the Van earthquake, Gezi Park protests, the failed coup attempt in Turkey that resulted in the death of 246 civilians, the Rohingya genocide in Myanmar, the major earthquake in Turkey and Israel's attacks on Lebanon. He has many international and national awards. Most of his works were published in the world's important newspapers and magazines. He has been working as a staff member at Anadolu Agency for the last 2 years.
