German-American photographer Stefan Falke's professional career started as a film set photographer for movies filmed all over the world and he credits those years with being the foundation for his future as a professional photographer. He later switched to corporate and editorial clients who trust his visual storytelling and on location portraiture qualities. His personal projects resulted in the acclaimed photo books Moko Jumbies: The Dancing Spirits of Trinidad, LA FRONTERA: Artists along the US Mexican Border, Keep Going New York and Reflecting New York. These projects were shown in over twenty solo exhibitions at art institutions and photo festivals like PHOTOVILLE in New York, VISA POUR L'IMAGE in Perpignan, TRIENNALE DER PHOTOGRAPHIE in Hamburg and XPOSURE Photo Festival in Sharjah, UAE, where he received the Global Focus Project Award for his "Keep Going New York !!" book project. His work also got recognition from Communication Arts, LensCulture, ASMP, APA, American Photography and International Photography Awards. He and his wife Christine live in New York City.
