I am a British amateur artist & photographer who chases humanness in it's rawest form. Light and dark are my tools, not just for contrast, but for emotion whatever the subject matter be. I work with lines , patterns, shapes and forms to map emotion: tension in the shadow, softness in a curve and raw truth within an unexpected angle. I'm less interested in perfection and more in the tiny detail, in-between moments- the glance, the pause the way light briefly changes a mood. Every image I take is an attempt to turn feeling into structure, to show that emotion has geometry - and that even in the darkest frame, there's always a trace of human light. I don’t use a fancy set-up, just my smartphone. No studio, no expensive gear. Just whatever light is there, whatever space I'm in, and the honesty of the moment.
