Rebekah is a self-taught photographer and digital artist based in San Antonio, TX. After earning a doctorate in viral ecology, she embraced her passions for photography and art. Initially inspired by David Alan Harvey's thought-provoking images, her love for photography has blossomed over a lifetime of travel across 30 countries. Her work often captures street scenes, daily life, architecture, and unique perspectives. Drawing inspiration from influential women photographers like Vivian Maier and Sally Mann, Rebekah is dedicated to achieving perfection, often seen lying on the ground, crouching, or contorting herself to find the ideal angle that conveys her inner vision and emotional depth. She has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide, receiving recognition in prestigious competitions such as the New York Photography Awards, PX3, MUSE, Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, and the CIP Festival, among others.
