Photographer's Profile
Thailand
I am currently living in Thailand. I came to Bangkok because of my husband's work. I started photography when I was over 40 years old, and I went to photography school in Japan for four years. I have been photographing "people who are trying to go somewhere". I photographed the Brazilian community living in Japan (with a focus on a tattooed woman who is in a minority position within the community). and young monks working away from the religious world in Japan as if they were strays. I have been photographing people who are trying to go somewhere without being aware of it, without being stable, but now I think that I am also a "person going somewhere", not a stable existence, living in a different country.
