Clarksdale, Mississippi is considered the center of the American Blues music scene. While I was visiting the Cat Head record store I was fortunate to come across blues guitarist Little Joe Mclerran and his family performing in the front porch area. Apparently this front porch area is one of the go to places for performers to ply their musical talents even when the tips are slim to nothing.
