I love photographing flowers and leaves as like exploring the texture on them. In this instance I had created a light box table with white diffusion underneath it to shoot all my closeup work. During the post production process I became dissatisfied with what I call the "usual" style of a clean an antiseptic look. So instead I decided to go the opposite direction and solarized the image with create effect. I truly fell in love with the simplicity of these crisp looking against a negative black void. The silvery outlines of the objects had quite a metallic feel to them that I found exciting to gaze at.
