It was a spectacular dive at The Pit, one of the most famous freshwater cenotes in the world. We were originally planning to dive The Pit as our third dive of the day, but when we passed by and saw the sun directly overhead, and not a person around, our guide said "we're diving it NOW!" This was the end of the dive, and you can see a diver and our guide at the surface. When I saw the sun's refractions were directly vertical, I mentioned to the guide behind me to swim around me, creating this magical shot of a diver's silhouette in crystal-clear water at the perfect time of day.
