In Chimera, photography becomes an act of metamorphosis: jellyfish, aquatic bodies without bones or roots, are transformed into flowers, terrestrial forms of fragile beauty. From this hybridization emerge new creatures, neither animal nor vegetal, suspended between vision and reality. The titles of the images – Nymphaea, Chloris, Iris, Daphne – recall female figures linked to myth and nature, outlining a journey that moves from the aquatic womb to flowering, to luminous transition, and finally to ultimate metamorphosis. Like female bodies in transformation, these chimeras narrate the generative power of imagination: each image is a passage, a fragment of identity in becoming, an ode to the possibility of being reborn in ever new forms.
