Does a piano have a soul, or is it just a perfect instrument? I never thought about it. Until I saw how a piano tuner works. I now know that it's not just a craft, it's an art. Michał Twardy is a master of this art. Like his father and grandfather, he is also a piano tuner. He recently worked at the Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. The winner of the competition played on a Fazioli piano, the soul of which was tuned by, among others, Michał Twardy.
