Church Signs and Symbols

Making the invisible visible: revealing the existence of God to those who approach the Church through signs and symbols. From the benign light of the dove (the Holy Spirit) to the dark shadow of the cross or of an extinguished and bowed candle (the death of Christ). Over the centuries, the wise use of light and shadow has defined life and death: there is no shadow without light, there is no life without death, there is no death without a return to life. To the symbols are added the images of the cult of the Madonna and the Saints, the intimacy of prayer, the poignant memory of the dead. In the shadow of the confessional the light of Forgiveness emerges.
