Holi is probably among one of the most popular cultural events in India and is celebrated all over the country. Photographing this festival of Colours in India is truly a project in itself. Holi starts when the villagers of Bersana and Nandgaon celebrate the festival over 3 days among themselves. This image is one from the series I made there. What you see here is people from both villages having a sit-down where they sing hymns together after playing Holi. That does not stop a few from throwing gulal (Coloured powder) on them. I was ready with my camera for any new frame when this happened and was fortunate to capture the moment as the colour was still hanging in the air.
