We were on the Chobe River very early, just before sunrise, and slowly cruised past a troop of baboons which were still roosting in a large tree on the river bank. As the first rays of the sunrise peeped over the eastern horizon, I managed to position myself in such a way as the body of this young baboon shielded the direct light, but the sunlight lit up the fur outline of the baboons as he stood up.
