Decided to spontaneously go out trying to capture some final autumnal colours before they soon disappear and make way for winter. After all, the area I had in mind is just around the corner, a quick two hour drive. ;-) At first it didn't look very promising upon arrival but waiting patiently paid of and the sun reappeared. I love the contrast of the warm golden tones of the lit larches against the cold rocky and partially snow-covered mountain backdrop.
