In Taiwan, Yanshui Beehive Fireworks Festival is the traditional celebration which is held during the Lantern Festival. It’s one of the top 10 most dangerous festivals in the world and it’s also listed as one of the world’s three major folk festivals. People will arrange the bottle rockets into a “gun wall” and use them to “blow up” the Sedan chair. The worshippers believe that thousands of the Beehive Fireworks can be set off to scare the god of plague away and leave the luck.
