In 2021 I started a portrait project focused on artists. My goal was to observe and not direct. To simply try and establish a rapport and allow the character of the subject to come out, and give extroverts and introverts alike the space to just be themselves. I never imagined how enriching this project would be for my own personal creativity, or that as a result, it would still be ongoing three years later!
