I am a journalist, writer and photographer. I shoot a lot of action sports, and rodeo is my favorite thing to shoot. This is an event called the "Wild Horse Race". The cowboys must get a runaway horse stopped, saddled and ridden to the finish line, and the fastest team wins. This night, Mother Nature got involved and added a serious thunderstorm to the event. The cowboys did a great job catching up to this one between the lightning bolts and waves of rain. They are a perfect example of a real cowboy!
