In south Texas it is rare to see the changing of the seasons. For two weeks, usually in November, the maple trees in Lost Maples put on a vibrant show of fall colors. As COVID kept us from normal travel we fell in love with Texas parks. One of our favorites was at Lost Maples in Vanderpool, Texas. This photo was captured at the end of a hike which led to this beautiful pond. This photo shows off a very special part of the Texas Hill Country.
