Crags and Cloud, Huatekerekere

Huatekerekere or Little Mount Peel in Canterbury, New Zealand is a fairly steep hike that would normally reward with a huge view down the flat Canterbury Plains, with the Rangitata River flowing into The Pacific Ocean. On this occasion low cloud largely obscured this. However, my hiking companion made for good contrast against the murky weather and a different (and likely more interesting) stitched panoramic shot than planned was achieved. From there I inverted the 360 degree panorama into a globe, and inverted it again to form the centre, with the intention of creating thought around an inner world that is so close to the one we are consciously living in.
