I was able to observe Canadian Geese gang brooding behavior. There were two pairs with 20 goslings. They came up onto land and were walking around at first but then they began to pile up to rest. More and more of them kept joining as time went on, into a pile that had more individuals than you can even pick up in this photo. It was a really cute moment to witness. As they were piling, I realized there was one in the center, so I waited and asked it to look at me really hoping I could catch a shot with it facing me engulfed by the others. Eventually it did and I got the shot!
