I never thought about the origin of food, and nature was separate from me. All my life I lived in and around cities. But since I am living in a small village with forests, lakes and wild life around me, I started to see how magical nature operates. How connected everything is and that I am just part of it. Today I am living from seasons to season, always knowing the phase of the moon, growing my own vegetables and picking food from the forest. Unlike the supermarkets, I find food in all kinds of special shapes and sizes, which inspired me to do a series with it. To show the beauty of nature, to show everything has a soul, to show we are one.
