If you get very close to an object with a camera, you see a lot of things differently. So also with this picture. Of course, the photograph is not a virus, but a macro image of a pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris) infructescence. However, I went as close as the macro lens would allow. At first glance I thought it looked like a virus. Of course, the Corona epidemic gave it a whole new aspect.
