Today's Jerusalem is a city of strong contrasts. Different cultures, different religions, and different nationalities are living in the same city. When I visited Jerusalem, it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the merger of East and West Jerusalem, and a grand celebration was held at the Wailing Wall. Walking on the streets of Jerusalem, I used my camera to record the faces of different people: people of different nationalities, devout believers, innocent children, police officers, pilgrims, and coming-of-age ceremony. I deeply felt the charm of this ancient city regarded as a holy place.
